Your baby’s birthday is a big deal.  A celebration of all those milestones reached, of the day your little one arrived and a pat on the back for you for making it through your first year as a parent!  Whether you’re planning a big party, or a small get together for close family and friends, here are some lovely ideas from party experts The Creation Station on how to add that personal touch and create some keepsakes that you’ll treasure way beyond this special day!

Baby Birthday Party Bunting

Why not create your baby’s name on bunting. Simply take some bunting and print your child’s footprint or hands and pop their name on the bunting to create your own for an eye catching, fluttering bunting that you can use to decorate at your little one’s parties for years to come!

Baby Footprint Canvas

For your baby’s first birthday why not have gather your friends together and create your baby footprint canvas.

You will need;

  • Canvas
  • Washable paint and a brush / or a print pad
  • Towel

Gently hold your baby’s ankle and if you have an older child you can let them paint your baby’s foot. Then take the canvas and press it up against your child’s foot.

If you are feeling very creative try taking a few prints and recreate them into little pictures. These also work really well printed onto card too, perfect for thank you cards or invitations!
