The UK M.U.M Awards™ 2017

M.U.M. stands for Maternity Unit Miracles and these very special awards have been created by Baby Lifeline to recognise the team work of maternity healthcare professionals and their exceptional and dedicated work. We ask for you to enter your story of a ‘miracle’ baby who has survived a difficult pregnancy and birth, thanks to the professional care given.

Bringing a baby safely into the world is no easy task and requires a huge team effort. Combining the skills of midwives, obstetricians, neonatal doctors and nurses, anaesthetists, GP’s and paramedics – The UK M.U.M Awards™ 2017 are giving you the chance to say thank you.

If you have experienced complications or problems with a pregnancy or birth in the last 6 years after 1st Sept 2011) why not nominate the maternity team who looked after your family and ensured the survival of your baby.

From the entries received our panel will select one winner from each of the eleven regions and one national winner. (Regions: Scotland, Wales, North West, North East, West Midlands, East Midlands, East Anglia, South, London and South East, South West and Northern Ireland.) The winners will be announced at the end of January 2018 with an awards special event to be held in March 2018.

Baby Lifeline is a unique national charity supporting the care of pregnant women and newborn babies all over the UK, to ensure the healthiest possible outcome from pregnancy and birth. Its £5 million Monitoring for Mums appeal is raising funds for much needed maternal and neonatal monitoring equipment requested by hospitals nationwide.
