A polyp is a soft growth, and these can occur in many different sites. Endometrial polyps are thought to affect a woman’s ability to conceive, although it’s impossible to give you figures to estimate your chances of conceiving if the poylp is not removed. A cervical polyp is unlikely to be relevant, but occasionally if it is large or if there is another polyp situated inside the uterus, it can physically get in the way of pregnancy. Removal of an endometrial or cervical polyp is generally straightforward.
