Uterine artery embolisation is a rare form of treatment reserved for very severe postpartum haemorrhage. Pregnancies after uterine artery embolisation have been described, but they are understandably rare. However, it is possible for them to occur, as the uterus also has a blood supply from the ovarian and vaginal arteries. In one reported case, the baby was a little small but was delivered vaginally without a problem.
