In my experience, most women seem to exempt themselves from fasting during Ramadan when they are pregnant. If it is important for you to fast during daylight hours for the duration of Ramadan, then as long as you are feeling well, and you are having a healthy well-balanced diet overall, there is no reason why this should be a problem. If you do go on to suffer from nausea, you might find going for long periods with no food makes the problem worse. Generally, nausea in pregnancy responds best to small frequent meals. Other things that seem to help are ginger products, e.g. biscuits or stem ginger, and sea-sickness bands (you can get these from pharmacies). If you are fasting, it would be a good idea to have your blood tests done to ensure that all is well and that you are not anaemic.
