The combined oral contraceptive pill will suppress the growth of any new endometriosis and your existing disease may also regress a little, so you’re doing the right thing by taking it. However, there’s nothing you can do about the fibrous tissue which surrounds severe endometriosis. This doesn’t go on its own accord, so there will always be a partial barrier to conception. Be prepared to seek advice about fertility treatment and don’t leave your plans for babies too late.
